Star Lite 03:42
You don't have to keep it clean But you gotta sweat it out West is left and east is right When you're traveling north from south You didn't have to be here all week But you'll be glad you came You'll find a host of hospitality And the waves are more or less the same Star light Star bright Second star I see tonight Make my first wish come true/Looks like we're counting on you They say our highways are the same But you're sleeping at the wheel Some foreign chords on my best guitar Midnight beach is so surreal Melted ice in your tumbler tells She does not reciprocate Star light Star bright Second star I see tonight Make my first wish come true/Looks like we're counting on You Are always welcome back just make it Through Whatever makes you take it apart You Cartoon angel on your shoulder if it Flew The rest is up to you

We were out late On a Thursday Under manmade stars A waif walks out on stage Killer cool not a shrinking violet He yells "feel the love" as the room falls silent To minimize her power I'm left to say Feel the hate Heal the fate A virago go go gone Fete-au-fete Siren song Don't discriminate Once upon a time In the mirror of my mind A place for everything And everything had a place Killed out cold and stunned in silence He yelled "feel the love" In pale contrivance Every day has a dog and every dog its day Feel the hate Heal the fate A virago go go gone Fete-au-fete Siren song Don't discriminate Hunger, thirst, delirium Silent dead voices The nearer you to them The face that launched a thousand ships Stumbled upon the rocks and flipped and suffered So she could sing you this... Feel the hate Heal the fate A virago go go gone Fete-au-fete Siren song Don't discriminate

Tell you about yourself You're the brightest hue of color But you look really good in black You're dazzling enough to bring sensation To an amnesiac Tell you about yourself You look real fine in blue jeans And I love to watch you walk away I can't tell if you're angry (that sounds like something I might say) You could wear ten shades of lipstick And I'm glossing over the fact That though I love to watch you walk away I much prefer it when you're walking back Tell you about yourself

There are times that I think that I've lost it There are times I know it's already lost There are times I find myself spending And pretending I know the cost It doesn't matter how far you travel It doesn't matter where you've been The tortoise and hare Between here and there Know that giving up would be a sin Just don't stop, just don't stop Every mountain is a molehill when you get to the top You can rest, just don't stop There are mountains I climb up backward With puddles where I always drown There are time I find myself talking And there ain't nobody else around It doesn't matter how far you travel It doesn't matter where you've been The compass rose Bows to those who know Giving up would be a sin Just don't stop, just don't stop Every mountain is a molehill when you get to the top Just don't stop, just don't stop Every mountain is a molehill when you get to the top You can rest, just don't...

about

Recorded during quarantine 2020: From our basements (and a front porch in the snow!) to your ears.

All songs recorded at an extreme social distance of at least 300 ft, most times more. On the lower end of "middle fidelity" we present songs that pair well with isolation of all kinds. Be clear though, these are not songs of quiet rumination. These are little sonic postcards to past and future glories- or failures as the case may be. Life is meant to be worn in heavy rotation. Wear, wash, rinse, repeat.

This album is dedicated to pirate broadcasts of Ham Stanley, WRIO-FM, Fords, NJ.
